The ladies discuss climbin' that convention ladder -- from their first cons to their worst cons, and their lists of demands.
In this episode the ladies talk about censorship, editing, self-editing, and go on some tangents about why white people fear the robot uprising and how TV show ratings for kids work. WE HAD FUN.
In this episode we talk about SELF-PROMO! Join our hosts, one of which has The Con Crud and the other broke her butt riding a bicycle. It's a long ep!
Sorry for the weird schedule! Editor has been busy with a lot. We're returning to normal now, with early Patreon eps resuming next week to keep us on a recognizable schedule.
This episode was also kind of a pain to edit, as poor Spike was sick and forgot to put her headphones on, so the echo coming from her speakers had to be edited out as best as possible. It was time consuming, and mostly successful -- there was some choppiness especially at the end.
In this episode we discuss a question we get asked a lot: where do your ideas come from as a comic maker? One of our more casual recordings, if you're into that.
Minor content warning: During the course of discussion, rape as a cheap and exploitative story-telling element is discussed.
The ladies discuss their experiences making and prepping books for printing, sprinkled with a little advice, with a dash of blatant unrepentant product placement.
In this episode, the ladies discuss Comixology -- what it is, and how to use it!
WE'RE BACK, IT'S BEEN SO LONG! We sound different this time, there's been some recording changes, and more are coming. In this episode, we play catch up and talk about what we've been up to since the last episode.
Next episode will be our recordings from the floor of SPX comics back in September!
Whoops sorry for getting busy again, but we have a backlog of episodes recorded. Today's episode was recorded a few months ago, so there are some audio footnotes at the end.
In Episode 20 we talk about our experiences publishing porn with our special guest Erika Moen!
After a short hiatus, we're back! In this self indulgent update we talk about what we're working on, what we want to work on in the future, and even take a break for Spike to explain a special kink called "pedal pumping."
Amanda also apologizes for her cat yelling. She tries to edit that out.
Each of the hosts has a webcomic, so why not talk about 'em? Join us for a very loose history lesson about slapping comics on the internet and making money off them.
Get ready for salt, the ladies have opinions about characters and writing them. Apologies in advance. Spike goes on a roll.
In this episode, we discuss our creative process! From editing to burning out to solutions for those little scraps of ideas you don't know what to do with... we discuss it all. And Sims 4.
Disclaimer: In terms of recording time, this is one of the earliest episodes we recorded, even though it's the 4th episode uploaded. Consequently there were some problems that do not exist in recent episodes, like Spike's volume came in extremely quiet , and attempts to raise volume resulted in amplification of weird artifacts and background noise.
So sorry for the weird quality of this one, we have a much better setup now and editing knowledge.
Today we utilitize our varied Kickstarter experience levels to give helpful advice and tell some crowdfunding horror stories -- boo!

Amanda, the editor, also apologizes for odd noises. She takes notes during the episodes and ususally mutes herself, but goofed up a few times. We're learning!
The soft reboot to Dirty Old ladies is live! Get reacquainted with C. Spike Trotman, Kel McDonald and Amanda Lafrenais, along with what they've been up to that's been SO DANG IMPORTANT that they neglected Dirty Old Ladies!
